Cast iron’s inherently irregular surface, combined with corrosion and previous repairs, often makes it difficult to achieve a proper seal. The Lifetime Tool® EASYFit™ offers an incredibly quick and cost-effective solution. Our patented technology features an 18” PMMA polymer cap stock, engineered for extreme weather resistance and bonded to PVC for superior strength and impact resistance. It also includes a thick-walled coupling for added durability.

Three flexible seal rings provide stability and prevent downdrafts of sewer gases, while the tap-in, no-glue compression cap delivers superior crush resistance, even under heavy snow loads or impacts. Complete the system with the Ultimate Pipe Flashing® for optimal performance.

• Cut cast iron pipe flush with the frontal roof decking or sheathing. (See video)
• Use a reciprocating saw with a specialty cast iron cutting blade (available from your local building material supplier).
• Oil blade frequently while cutting at low RPM (go slowly).
• Cut EASYFit™ to desired length.
• Apply a fat bead of urethane caulk for added seal and/or uneven cuts. Press EASYFit™ into cast iron pipe.
• Insert no glue compression cap until seated. Tap if necessary.
