OUR HISTORY
Roger Cline, Principal and founder of Lifetime Tool & Building Products LLC®, has a long and distinguished career in technical roofing sheet metal, particularly with double-lock standing seam metal systems, including 40lb Terne (Tin), Copper, galvanized, and TCS (Terne Coated Stainless Steel).
In the late 1980’s,
In the late 1980s, Roger was the first to develop and patent a roof accessory that attached to a metal roof seam using set screws. His company, Real Tool™ Inc., introduced the R.T. snow guard line, which quickly became the industry standard. The method of attachment pioneered by Roger remains widely used by companies around the world today.
In 2011, Roger founded Lifetime Tool & Building Products LLC®, focusing on proprietary roofing accessories. The company’s product lineup began with the Ultimate Pipe Flashing® and has since expanded to include pipe flashing accessories, snow guards, and the latest innovation—the Ultimate Bath/Dryer Vent®. Lifetime Tool remains dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-quality components with a focus on customer satisfaction, product value, and uncompromising quality.
